Teepee Tarot & Sound

About

Hello, I'm Teepee

Teepee playing a crystal singing bowl in a candlelit studio, surrounded by gongs

A practitioner of singing bowl, tarot, and reiki. By other paths, also an art director and tutor. I bridge old wisdom and modern knowledge, helping others find their own way back to themselves.

The way in

Sound healing and meditation came to me out of need. As a sensitive empath, grounding has always been a quiet challenge, and these practices became my anchors, restoring control and a clearer mind. Amidst the urban hustle, I'd like to help more people discover self-improvement and their own inner sanctuaries.

Training & lineage

  • Tarot · 6 years of practice
  • Sound healing · 3 years; Tibetan singing bowls and gongs, YACEP recognised
  • Reiki · 3 years; Usui Reiki lineage, Level II certified

I hold space in both English and Mandarin. I started with tarot, and over time sound healing came to sit alongside it.

Influences

My approach to sound is shaped strongly by The Healing Power of Sound by Dr. Mitchell L. Gaynor, a book about recovery and presence through sound, voice, and music. Its sensibility runs through every session I hold.

About each practice

What is tarot card reading?

Tarot is a 78-card deck used as a tool for reflection rather than prediction. In a reading we sit with a question you've brought, draw cards, and look at what their imagery surfaces for you. The aim isn't a verdict. It's a clearer view of what's already on your mind, and the next small step you can take.

What is sound healing?

Sound healing uses the steady, layered tones of singing bowls and gongs to quiet the body and mind. You lie down; I play; the room fills with overlapping frequencies. The experience is often described as floating, or settling into a deep rest the body integrates on its own. No effort required; just receiving.

What is reiki healing?

Reiki is an energy practice from the Usui lineage in Japan, done with hands lightly on or just above the body. I place my hands at successive positions, holding each for a few minutes: head, shoulders, torso, feet. Most clients describe a quiet warmth and a sense of unburdening; some fall asleep. It's gentle, fully clothed, and entirely non-invasive.

What a session feels like

Grounding. Rejuvenating. A clearer mind.

For sound healing, you'll lie down, at the studio or in the comfort of your own home. The bowls do most of the work; you only need to receive.

For tarot, it's a conversation, and an exploration of whatever question you've brought. We sit with it from a few different angles, and aim toward something clear.

Come with an open mind and an open heart. For tarot, bring an issue or a question you'd like to work on.
